This year, StaffSavvy has made an exciting integration with Indeed, making your recruitment needs easier than ever. When recruiting, you can now post new positions via Indeed.
Then, any applications submitted via Indeed will be pulled through into your StaffSavvy recruitment portal, seamlessly integrating with your current system while allowing you to reach a wider audience when recruiting.
Step 1
To integrate Indeed with StaffSavvy, you must first go to System > Configuration > Global Settings. Scroll down to the Indeed section and enable the Indeed integration. This means Indeed will be able to review any job advert you create and reach out to put your account live. They will also merge adverts together.
Step 2
Then go to the Recruitment tab > Settings > Portal Settings and go to the Integrations tab. This is where you will set the details for your Indeed integration. You will need an Indeed source name - a unique title that will link to your Indeed company profile.
Additional details to input include your organisation's name and contact details for the recruiter or whoever the applicant will need to send their application to.
Step 3
You will also need to set up the position settings Indeed requires for any new position. Each position has a section that pops up for details. You will need to include the type of remuneration, i.e., whether staff pay will appear hourly, weekly, or monthly.
The location of the position, including the country, postcode, and address, is also required so Indeed can place your job advert to those seeking jobs in that area.
While the remuneration type is required information, the location can be left blank for situations where it is not necessary, such as if the position is remote.
Once these steps have been completed, your applications will automatically be uploaded to Indeed and, once created and published in StaffSavvy, will go live. With the Indeed integration live, it is important to note that if they close the position on StaffSavvy, it will also be removed from Indeed.
Additionally, the system will update Indeed on the status of an application. For example, if an applicant has been rejected, offered a position, or shortlisted, the system will pass this information on to Indeed.
