Shift Memos
You can add a shift memo (and attachment) that can then be read by other staff members. This may include special requirements, reminders, or preparation documents. You can go to any shift and add a new memo to it. Click the Shift Memos option in the actions menu.
Then, under the Shift Memos page, make sure you are on the correct date and then enter a note in the message field. You can also add attachments as needed. This can be helpful if you have a document you want them to read or a picture to share.
You can also reply to any existing notes. You’ll see who posted the note and when, as well as be able to remove any of your existing comments or replies. Depending on your permission level, you are also able to delete other staff members’ responses if needed.

Individual Shift Notes

To view, create and update notes, simply click the shift in the Shift Schedule view, and you will be able to edit the shift. Additionally, you can add Shift Notes from the Grid View page by clicking the cog icon (
) next to a shift and selecting the Edit Shift Page option.
From here, under the Additional details section, managers can add notes for the staff member about the shift and any additional instructions that are going to be relevant for that particular shift.
