Shift reports can be used to provide relevant information about upcoming shifts. You can find reports under Reports > Shift Reports.
Shift Listings Report
The first report we will go through is the Shift Listings report. This report allows you to view a report of upcoming shifts within a chosen time period. Within this page you can either look at a quick report, or create a bespoke report to review.
Quick Report
If you need to quickly see recent or upcoming shifts you might want to use quick reports. Quick Reports allows you to see a specific number of reports, including shifts from the current week; shifts for the coming week; shifts assigned over the next 24 hours, shifts assigned over the next two weeks or shifts assigned over the next month. When running a Quick Report you can also navigate directly to the shift details page by clicking on the shift times.
Bespoke Report
There is also the option to create a customised shift report which allows you to set specific parameters. You can control the following features in the report:
- Report Period
Select the time period for the shift report, chosen by hours (next 24) days (next 7, 14, or 30), or between a date and time range. The specific time range can span a much greater length of time. - Report Options
Choose to include untaken extra shifts or hidden shifts in the report. - Report Skills
Select which skills you’d like included in the report. By default, all skills are selected.
Then click View Report. You will then be able to see a summary of the upcoming shifts, the staff members, their skill, their tasks, and their shift times.
View Across Primary Venue Group
You also have the option to enable a permission that can limit access to shift information called Shifts Schedule Listings Report: primary venue group. This permission automatically adapts the Shift Listing report so it will show all shifts across the staff member’s current venue’s primary venue group.
For example, you might have a team who work in a part of a building. You do not want them to have access across all venues within the building however you wish for them to be able to view a report that shows them all the staff working in the building. They do not need to have access to all the venues in the venue group; they'll be able to see the shifts across the group but not be able to edit them or view reports.
This permission can be granted to all of the venues assigned to the same primary venue group. To use this feature, ensure you have set a primary venue group for all venues you wish to have access.
Shifts Off List report
This shows the list shifts off that have been taken off by staff and has not been filled. If the night off is forced the shift will be assigned to relevant staff members (if they are not taken by choice). If the night off is not forced the night off shift can either be removed or given to relevant staff members.
